Temple of Debod, Madrid, Spain. One hot summer evening, we walked to the Cuartel de la Montaña park to watch the sun set by the Temple of Debod in Madrid, Spain. Not only is the lighting at the Temple of Debod excellent for photos taken at dusk, but there is a magnificent view of the outskirts of Madrid over which the sun sets. The Temple is an ancient Egyptian temple from Aswan, Egypt and was donated to Spain by the Egyptian sate in 1968. It is quite similar to the Temple of Dendur, currently stationed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
