I spent part of my 2011 summer in the Champagne region of France. There, I studied Transnational Wine Trade Law at the Université de Reims Champagne-Ardenne in Reims, France. While I spent many hours each day in lectures and studying about wine law, my journey to France that summer was not exclusively about wine law education. During my time in Reims and other French cities, I vowed to find the best chocolatier and the best macaron. I visited many patisseries, including Pâtisserie Vincent Dallet and La Petite Friande, but mon coeur still belongs to Ladurée in Paris.
